predecessor
The company took over the silkworm seed manufacturing business “Chishokan” founded in the mid-Meiji period.
Founder Etsu Kuribayashi turned to the press processing industry in 1940.
1944
Established Kuribayashi Seisakusho Co.
Manufactured and sold pharmaceutical cans and household sundries
1961
Became a cooperative company with NSK Ltd.
Completed a turning factory and started production of “Tapered Roller Bearings.”
1967
Forging plant completed, introduction of cold forging technology
Sakai Factory completed, start of forging blank production
1970
Development of Warm Forging Technology for Bearings
First to achieve application in the world
